Common questions

Questions about our services

Families, guardians and case workers ask us these often. Don't see yours? Call (314) 395-9375.

How do I know which program is right?

Start with age and goals. Sprout@BIS serves children ages 2 to 6, ABA is available at any age, and Thrive@BIS and Grow@BIS serve adults 18 and older. Not sure? Call (314) 395-9375 and our team will help you find the right fit.

Do you accept insurance and Medicaid?

Yes. Depending on the program, services can be covered by private insurance, Medicaid, the DMH Waiver or other funding. Our team will help you understand your options and verify coverage.

Where are services provided?

ABA is delivered at home, at our clinic or in the community. Sprout@BIS is center-based at our Maryland Heights clinic. Thrive@BIS supports adults in real homes, and Grow@BIS is based in the community.

Do you work with service coordinators and case managers?

Yes. For adult services, a Service Coordinator or case manager is often the best first step, and we are happy to work with them directly.

Not sure where to start?

Whether you're a family exploring services, an adult seeking support or a case worker making a referral, we're here to help you find the right fit.
