Kimberly Salls, MS, BCBA, LBA
Owner, Director and Supervising Senior Behavior Analyst

Kim Salls has been working in the field of developmental disabilities since 1996. She received her BA in Psychology through St. Louis University and her MA in ABA through University of Nevada, Reno. She received her BCBA in 2004 and went on to start Behavior Intervention Services. Since 2004, the agency has grown to over 120 employees providing a variety of services, including behavior therapy, personal care assistance, residential services, community specialist services, and group therapy.

Jessica Harrison, MS, BCBA, LBA
Assistant Director and Supervising Senior Behavior Analyst

Jessica Harrison is a Supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Assistant Director of Behavior Intervention Services. She received her Bachelor’s degrees at Johnson State College in Vermont. Her undergraduate degrees consisted of a BA in Psychology and a BA in Political Science with an emphasis in Pre Law. She moved to Murphysboro, Illinois in July 2005 to attend Southern Illinois University where she received her Master of Science in Behavior Analysis and Therapy. Jessica is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who has been working in the field for 6 years now. She enjoys working with special needs individuals, specifically in the areas of discrete trial training and severe challenging behavior.

Lynn Anne Brook
Director of Office Staff Administration

Lynn started her career in the field of ABA in 2004 and started with BIS in 2006 as an ABA Implementer and PCA. Lynn loved the work that she did with her clients but was offered a Human Resources and Public Relations position in the office in 2008. In 2011 Lynn was promoted to Director of Office Staff Administration. In this role Lynn oversees office related business, plans employee and client functions, manages recruitment of new staff and coordinates trainings.

Kim’Berly’ Forsythe
Human Resources Director

Kim”Berly” Forsythe began her career with BIS in 2006, when she started as a full time PCA. She was promoted to Staffing Coordinator in 2008 and took over many Human Resources responsibilities at that time. Berly has worked in management and Human Resources since 1996 and has been working in the field of developmental disabilities since 1993. Berly was promoted to her Human Resources Director Position in March of 2011.

Debby Schafer
Office Manager

Debby is a St. Louis native who graduated from Bayless High School. She has been with the agency for over 5 years and is responsible for all payroll related issues for the agency. Other jobs include the operations portion of the company, purchasing and billing. Contacts with the Personal Care Assistants and Behavior Analysts along with the Department of Mental Health case managers to ensure proper funding is in place and required paperwork is submitted.

Lisa Arnett
Natural Home Staffing Coordinator

Lisa Arnett started with the agency in March of 2009 as a PCA. After working in the field with multiple clients, she was promoted in April of 2011 to Natural Home Staffing Coordinator. Lisa loved being in the field but has really enjoyed the challenges involved in scheduling. Lisa truly enjoys still seeing the consumers at the office, meeting all the PCA’s and speaking with each of our families on a regular basis. When she is not working on schedules Lisa enjoy spending time with her husband and 3 great kids. Two teen girls and a young son keep her pretty busy. She is excited to be a part of BIS and watch the growth of the agency.

Sarah Kelly, BS
Financial Manager

Sarah Kelly is the Financial Officer at Behavior Intervention Services. Sarah is from St. Louis and received her Bachelor of Science in Math Education, Magna cum Laude from the University of Missouri- Columbia in 2006. She is passionate about helping others and working for a worthy cause. Sarah hopes to be a part of the BIS team and the exciting growth of the company for a long time to come!

Matt Thielemier
Assistant to the Director

Matt Thielemier has always  had a passion for the field and had worked with similar agencies before joining BIS as the Assistant to the Director in September 2011. He enjoys the camaraderie he has established with his co-workers and is excited to be a part of the future of the agency.  His enthusiasm and bright personality are a welcomed addition to the office.

Brittany Thorn – Individualized Supported Living Staffing Coordinator

Brittany Thorn started with Behavior Intervention Services as the ISL Staffing Coordinator in October of 2010. She earned her Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology from the University of Missouri St. Louis in December of 2009. Brittany was named BIS Employee of the Year for 2011, and she plans to continue growing with BIS for years to come.
