Employee of the Year, Brittany Thorn with 9 Nominations
Read below to find out some of the great things BIS Employees have to say about Brittany.
I nominate Britney Thorn for EOY, because of her continuous efforts to work with the PCA to fit there scheduling needs as well as the consumer’s needs.
Brittany Thorn communicates well, helps out the ISL when desperately needed, and always has a great attitude!
My nomination is… Brittany thorn! Because she does such an awesome job with the scheduling and is always so optimistic about it, and I know it’s not easy!
I would like to nominate Brittany T. She does a great job with everyones schedule and she works in the ISLs when she can’t find someone else to cover the shift! I think she is just great!
On another note, I want to nominate Brittany Thorn for employee of the year. There are many reasons as to why I want to nominate Brittany. She has been very welcoming since the first day I met her. I know she spends a lot of time adjusting our schedule to meet our needs as well as the agency’s needs. Moreover, she goes above and beyond of her job requirements and is always a team player and a good team leader. I would love for her to win.
I would like to nominate Brittany Thorn for Employee of the Year! It is so hard to have to choose just one person, but Brittany’s influence spreads across all departments and so my nomination has to fall with her.
Brittany’s constant positive attitude and ever-present smile are just two of the many reasons why I would like to nominate her! She has taken a very tough position and made it look effortless. She had a great working relationship with everyone in the office and the PCA staff as a whole. You will hardly ever hear her complain about her workload, office drama or upheaval in the ISL dept. She takes everything in stride and is great at keeping all of the ISL ducks in a row!
Brittany also is always the first to recognize others for a job well done. The ISL Employee Nomination box is always FULL and at least 90% of them are from her!
I could really go on and on but I think most of it goes without saying!
I would like to nominate brittany for employee of the year. She has not only done her job very well, but has gone above and beyond to get trained on ISL consumers and fill in shifts on the weekends. Thanks!
My nomination for employee of the year is a no brainer, Brittany Thorn.
Brittany has the job no one wants. While Lisa Arnett might have a tough job staffing in-home clients but Brittany is forced to meet larger goals (staffing ISLs 24/7). It’s a job that’s stressful and difficult and it forces her to be the bad guy in the eyes of ISL PCAs. You don’t blame clients or behavior therapists for a shift you don’t want or when you schedule is “screwed up” or you’re forced to work on a gorgeous Saturday afternoon, you blame Brittany.
What really kills me about Brittany is that she does the job without complaining, without getting angry or frustrated, and without being the surly old maid you’d expect someone with her job to be. She is constantly happy and chipper, to the point where it’s almost kind of annoying.
I know how tough the Staffing job is and I know how tough staying on top of all things ISL are so Brittany’s position is really the unsung hero around here at times. She is very organized, thorough and upbeat on most days as she goes along her daily tasks. Taking over the BIS BUZZ, working PCA shifts and being Darla’s right hand gal can sometimes be full time jobs on their own! I also want to commend her on taking the initiative to “wear the shoes” of the PCA’s that she staffs every day by picking up shifts at all the households. That speaks a lot to her dedication not only to her position but also her department and the agency as a whole.
